Amazon.com Editoral Review: Movie composer Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven) wrote his only Broadway score, How Now, Dow Jones, in 1967 in collaboration with the brilliant lyricist Carolyn Leigh, director George Abbott, producer David Merrick, and choreographer Gillian Lynne. The show about two people (Anthony Roberts, who by 1972's Sugar was known as Tony, and Marlyn Mason) attempting a romance while working on Wall Street only lasted 220 performances, but did produce a lively toe-tapper, "Step to the Rear," that saw some life past the show. Brassy Brenda Vaccaro plays Mason's friend Kate, Hiram Sherman won a Tony as a Wall Street whiz, and a young Tommy Tune plays a waiter in only his third Broadway appearance. --David Horiuchi
