Posted by libradude on 2007-08-17 17:32:55: Although this recording doesn't add a ton to the world of Scarlet Pimpernel recordings, it is worth having for collecing purposes. Besides a few lackluster Michael Lanning recordings and Linda Eder stuff we've already heard in the concept album, this recording does offer a few gems.
For one, the piece "High Time" is an impressive pop ballad that hasn't been featured on any of the other recordings to date. Also, the unique version of "You Are My Home" is one of the best recordings I've ever heard of the song. Those are the highlights in my opinion anyway.
